Day of Wonder--June 18th

In preparing for next week's Show Me a Story camp, we've under advertised our one-day preschool camp at our Springfield Camp property in Newville, so have plenty of room left . 9 am-noon, $25/child.

Rachel Carson, our muse here at The Wonder Collective, wrote:
"If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the
companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement, and mystery of the world we live in."
That adult is you. Enjoying a child's sense of wonder is one of the great gifts of being a parent. One of today's gifts is simply scheduling that time apart--together.

This 3-hour day camp is designed for 2 to 5-year-olds and their caregiver. We will provide a morning snack; you're welcome to pack a lunch and picnic with us afterwards.

We'll be spending our time together at a slower pace, seeing the world through a four-year-old's eyes, and treating both your eyes (and hands and ears) to wonderful experiences. We will touch and see and create and listen and move and sing and immerse ourselves in nature's beauty. The Springfield Camp property, with the Big Spring, woods, and wandering trails, is perfect for a Day of Wonder.

**due to the nature of this camp and its sweet attendees, it WILL be rescheduled in case of rain.
