VALERIE GOATES

was formally trained in Botany and Molecular Biology, but traded genetic research for raising her own progeny, and applied her great lab hands to working clay and wool and wood, and....whatever she can get them on!  Her passion for detail continues:  she loves small flowers & stitches, small books & woodland windows, and especially small fingers & toes & blossoming minds.  She has happily spent many years in craftivism:  teaching and organizing friends, church, and school groups, and of course her own three precious wild ones (now ranging from toddler to teen). Valerie is also the proud oldest sister of a family of seven children, which was excellent preparation for pretty much everything since. 

SHANNON HECKMAN

is a certified Elementary Education teacher who ran her own preschool, The Springfield School, for a couple of years to rave reviews.  Since "retiring" she has spent just as many hours in the public schools, a favorite substitute teacher at Grace B. Luhrs University Elementary School.  Her credentials include Spanish, ESL, & M.Ed. in Reading.  Shannon is also the mother of Addy (1), Clara (9), and Ella (12).  After some time on the West Coast, Shannon returned to south central PA to raise her own free spirited children in the magical woods she loved so much as a part of her own childhood.

BECCI ZULLINGER

splits her professional time between providing free-lance IT support for a local corporation, being the beloved "Miss Becci" at a Shippensburg nursery school, and photographing weddings and families.  In her spare time, she collects pets, is an official friend of the fairies, and loves to whip up (you would not believe how fast and productive she is!) whimsical creations from her extensive stash of supplies, specializing in found and recycled materials.  She has two independent children (10 & 12) and lots of artistic talent and lovelovelove to share.
