I hope you’ve had a fantastic summer so far, full of wonder and
creativity and the mix of busy and lazy that defines this season. We
had a great first week of camp and just revamped the remainder of our
summer workshop schedule to better fit YOUR schedule. HERE:

If you’ve been thinking of joining us, now’s the time. With mixed
feelings, we’ve decided this is our last season of workshops. It’s
been a fun year, but the behind-the-scenes work has been super
time-consuming, and this fall each of us have new commitments that need
our attention. And then there are our long-suffering families…. We do
still plan on running a couple of sessions of Springfield Camp next
year, and Becci and I are remaining on the board of The Thought Lot.
Please continue to support this great space. Shippensburg’s
contemporary arts center needs you!
As a goodbye/thank you, we’ve planned a craftapalooza for the last week
of summer. We hope you’ll join us on Thursday afternoon, August 22nd,
for any or all of the hours from 1-4 pm. For $5, you’ll have access to
lots of creative and tasty goodness: a button machine, big bubbles
(plus a wand & recipe to take home), cotton candy, icy treats, and a
full line-up of crafts for all ages. Mark your calendars and watch for
details!
All workshops held at The Thought Lot, 37 E. Garfield St., Shippensburg.
